Nancy Velthuis

Mentee Coordinator

I am Nancy Velthuis and I was born in the beautiful country of Kenya in East Africa I came to Australia when I was 12 years old and have been living here ever since. I reflect a varied personality including ambition, and the qualities of generosity and thoughtfulness. I am also a well determined and vigorous individual, yet pleasantly calm. I believe that success is not just when you have results to show, but when you have a journey to show.

I am a full-time student, motivated by my love for learning and succeeding as I strive to become an outstanding and successful woman in today’s society. With the definitive goal of being remember as women who loved to served others. I am currently completing my Bachelors degree studies in Business, at University of Queensland. I am also a member of the AIESEC which is the worlds biggest youth-led organisation that helps students experience a life changing opportunity around the world, with programs such as Volunteering and internship around the world.

I am excited to be involved in Youth Without Boarders as a Mentee Coordinator It’s an opportunity for me to grow and learn in more ways than one. It’s also fuelled my passion to inspire other young women to reach their full potential no matter where you came from. I want young women to know that their fearless in being able to achieve their goals no matter what the circumstances. But most importantly I want them to know that they can leave graceful footprints by just being themselves.
