Meet the Expand Project Team
Julian was born and raised in Papua New Guinea (East New Britain Province). He speaks PNG Tok Pisin fluently and identifies very closely with Melanesian culture and way of life.
Julian volunteered for a year in Vanuatu in 2005 and although he is now based in Australia (once Brisbane now Melbourne) he regularly travels to and from PNG to be involved in community development and educational initiatives.
With experience in community development and volunteering projects, a depth of PNG experience and as a teacher by profession Julian has had a primary role in contributing to the design of Expand and will provide ongoing advice on the educational, logistical and the cultural and community engagement elements of the project.
