Boundless is a Youth Without Borders initiative to bring attention to youth who are creating change in their world.
Kamar Buku is a library on the back of a motor bike that drives around villages (Depok, Indonesia) and accesses disadvantaged communities. Through education and public information dissemination, it targets areas that don’t have access to libraries, specifically children and youth living inrural areas with inadequate transportation and communication facilities.
The ‘Spark’ Engineering Camp is a Youth Without Borders initiative, bringing together a variety of stakeholders to provide Grade 10-12 students with a life changing opportunity to see what the university experience, particularly engineering, can provide.
Shinpads and Hijabs brings together a number of local organisations to promote football (soccer) to groups who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in culturally sensitive environments.
MasterChef Meets the Streets focuses on on bringing together representatives – that is, leaders and elders – of ethnic communities to teach school children how to cook a specific ethnic dish. The food is then distributed to homeless people, with the involvement of the youth who prepared it in the process.
