Conor O'Neill

Conor O'Neill


Conor was born and raised in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, and has lived in Brisbane since 2000. He was drawn to the Expand project by a drive to help promote understanding and perspective between the two countries and cultures.

Conor has travelled the world extensively, having lived on four continents and visited all but Antarctica. He is a member of the University of Queensland Young Alumni Advisory Board and graduated from UQ in 2014 with an honours degree in Physics. He is also an Alumnus of Villanova College, Class of 2007.

Conor is a published astrophysicist who has worked at various telescopic observatories around the world, and is currently a Quantitative Analyst in the Data Science Unit at Flight Centre Travel Group in Brisbane.
