Ally Sarah

Ally is in her final year at the University of Queensland, completing her thesis is Psychology. She is currently volunteering with Youth Without Borders, ReachOut Australia and the One Woman Project Seminar Series. Ally has also campaigned and fundraised One Girl in their “Do It In A Dress” events.

Ally is a passionate advocate for human rights, with a keen interest in both gender equality and refugee rights in particular.  She plans to return to UQ in the future to obtain her masters in Clinical Psychology and gain registration as a Psychologist in Australia.

Ally will bring experience in Psychological Science to the project by providing mental health care advice, information and tools to support both the youth and mentors involved. When Youth Without Borders provided the opportunity to embrace a cross-cultural, youth-driven project with our neighbours to the north, Ally leaped on board as a Mentor, excited to help Expand flourish in its first year of operation.
